As you all know, this weekend is the Texas Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday and certain Energy Star products qualify as leasable items.
The great news is, there’s nothing ‘extra’ for you to do. Ring the transaction as you normally would.
TEMPOE will take care of the rest! We will adjust leases accordingly after the lease transaction has been completed, but before their first regular payment is due to ensure that all qualifying items are tax-exempt.
PLEASE NOTE: The lease adjustment will include backing out any tax paid on their first in-store payment.
